It’s time to welcome students back to campus, and to welcome the incoming class of 2023!  Students majoring in SST or minoring in sociology are welcome to check in with me anytime.  I have moved over the summer, and my office is now Delp 120 (down in the catacombs).  –Dr. Blum

Happy 4th of July!  I hope everyone’s summer is going well.

In case you haven’t seen/heard, the requirements for the major change as of this Fall.  The updated one-page summary can be found either here or in the public folder on Box.

Students who have already declared the SST major technically may elect to complete either the old or new requirements.  We are assuming you will all want the new requirements, since they call for one less course and 2 less credit hours.  😁  Let me know if you have any questions.

This is now the primary avenue for news and information for the Hillsdale Sociology & Social Thought Program, so it is not tied to services that not everyone uses (like Facebook).  Posts here will be referenced on the Facebook page for those who still follow us there.  I will be trying to copy some of the prior photos of graduating seniors, etc.

Feel free to let me know if you have graduation photos that we do not already have here or on Facebook, or if you have any suggestions, comments, questions, etc.
