Revisions to Spring 2023 Course Listing
We have made changes to our course listings for Spring 2023. The two courses originally listed by Dr. Walter Jensen have been canceled. Instead, he is now offering REL 374 (The American Religious Landscape), now scheduled TT 11am-12:15pm. I have updated the course descriptions to reflect the changes.

Alum Loren Wilbers is In Charge!
As of this Fall, Loren Wilbers, Hillsdale Sociology and Social Thought alum (2008) and sociology PhD (University of South Florida), is now tenured and has taken on duties as chair of the department of Sociology, Criminology, and Anthropology at the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater. Kudos to Loren!!

The course descriptions for Spring 2021 have been published! You can access the document here. This includes descriptions for PHL320 (American Philosophy) and PHL 345 (Contemporary Continental Philosophy), as well as all of the SOC courses.
SOC493 Rescheduled!
SOC 493 – Sociology of Knowledge, Science, and Expertise, taught by Christopher Robertson (Northwestern University), has been moved to Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:00am to 12:15pm. (It was originally scheduled on Monday evenings.)
